How to get firefox to display automatic horizontal panel for div?

See this graze in firefox. When resizing the browser window horizontally, when the yellow area is hidden, I want a horizontal scrollbar to appear. On Safari, this code works fine. How would you create a style for Firefox?

I use overflow: auto; I just want the scroll bar to appear when it makes sense, I don't want to see it all the time

Firefox does not recognize overflow-x and overflow-y .

Use overflow:-moz-scrollbars-horizontal; instead overflow:-moz-scrollbars-horizontal; or overflow:-moz-scrollbars-vertical ;

This is Mozilla Firefox's special hack, so none of the other browsers should be affected.

It is best to use overflow: auto; this will add a scrollbar only if necessary.
