I want to add a real-time update wall to my facebook canvas app. Posts on this wall should be updated automatically for each user of the application. What is the best way to implement such an application?
I planned on using FBML and periodic AJAX requests to the server (FBJS) on the page. When one user sends a message, this post will be returned to everyone using these AJAX requests (format - JSON)
Maybe there is a better way to do this?
I also use it on the night club website. The request for facebook is client-side, so it does not give me performance problems on the server.
