Using Oracle 10g. (10.2.0.4)
Perhaps by looking at either the logs or the system tables, there is a way to determine which version of the oracle client uses each connection.
Our systems initially had 8.1.7 clients, and then 9.X clients.
We tried to manually find all the machines with older customers and upgrade them to 10.2 customers.
We are looking for an audit method (from the server) if we succeed in updating all our client machines.
