My application requires that the task be performed every day, when 100,000+ PDF files (~ 50 KB) must be archived. I am currently using 7-zip and calling 7za.exe(command line tool with 7-zip files) to zip each file (files are in many different folders).
What are the limitations of this approach and how can they be addressed? Is there a file size or file limit for the archive 7zip?
