Android - How to Get Currency Exchange Rates

Question

I am trying to develop a simple Android application for Android. To get started, I need to get the exchange rate of, say, the last year.

Can anyone advise how I can do this? I looked at the Google financh API, but could not find a way to get currency rates. Any advice is appreciated.

You can analyze data from the federal reserve. It has historical data shared by the country. You can find the link here:

http://www.federalreserve.gov/releases/h10/Hist/

The data is presented in simple ascii, which simplifies the analysis.
