Wkhtmltopdf - unable to convert local file

Question

I just downloaded version 10.0 for opensuse v. 11.3. I can convert a web page (e.g. www.google.com) using it, but I can’t convert the local file. I grant all permissions to the file (and I even tried to work under sudo to no avail). This is mistake:

"Loading pages (1/6) Error: Failed to load page file: ///file.html."

The file exists, but wkhtmltopdf refuses to download it. I even tried version 9.9 with the same result

What am I missing?
