Setting the html controller on the right side in the Firefox extension

I am creating a Mozilla extension. Here I need to set the right button knob in the extension. Here I am splitting the XUL file into a div element. I took the main div element, and inside that I took two more inner divs. Then I set one internal div style property float: left; and another div style float: right property. But that does not help me. Here I also set the CSS style property of Button style: right, which is inside a div that has a float: right property.

In the XUL window, dialog, pageor vboxitems are displayed from top to bottom, and if you put items in <hbox>, they appear from left to right (except RTL). But sometimes you need a right-aligned object. Then you have several options:

  • Simplest version <hbox pack="end"><button label="right"/></hbox>
  • If you also need an element on the left, you can divide them into spacer, for example:<hbox><button label="left"/><spacer flex="1"/><button label="right"/></hbox>
  • Alternatively, you can also use <vbox align="end"><button label="right"/></vbox>that works best, if you need item radio, checkbox, labelor descriptionwhich can be wrapped.
