Which text editor does the most accurate Perl syntax highlighting job

I know that I'm risky asking a speculative question, however, inspired by this recent question . I wonder which editor is best suited for the syntax highlighting Perl. Well aware of the difficulties (impossibilities) of parsing Perl, I know that there will be no ideal case. Nevertheless, I wonder if there is a clear leader in the correct view.

NB I use geditand it works great, but with known issues.

I am using Emacs in CPerl mode . I think this is an awesome job, although the one similar to Ether answers, it's not perfect. What more, I usually use Htmlize to publish highlighted code on the Internet. It annoys the use of more convenient forums such as this one, which makes its own syntax, because it is not so, and the results are not so good.
