We are trying to create a push to talk (PTT) application. The idea is to send an audio file over the air from one device to another. Is Jingle the only logical choice if he has any directions on how to get this setting in the Android environment? + XMPP Or is there a better solution?
In the worst case, I thought that a notification with C2DM-push flies from one device to another, and with each payload push the device on which the sound file is located on the server is reported and this unit transmits an audio file, but it seems too much to do it is this way because push notifications cannot always be guaranteed, or it may take some time until it reaches the device, etc. The idea here is to have real live experience and as quickly as possible.
