What directories are deleted in the application sandbox during the update

Question

I am caching some loaded information in NSLibraryDirectory in the application. However, after a recent update, users report problems accessing previously downloaded content in the library directory.

Which directories are safe for caching information in new versions of applications? Does it have Apple documentation? I could not find...
