PHP structure is similar to Python Pylons

What is the most similar PHP framework for Pylons? I mainly mean the ideology of programming.

Methyl, Great php framework - Codeigniter fully documented. There is also Kohana if you want php5 features.

As for your question, since PHP vs Pylons benchmarking, they compare smart with pylons, it might be similar.

I would go for Codeigniter or Kohana. Behance.net is one of the Codeigniter-based sites.

However, I find that Symfony encourages several web development patterns used in Pylons. For example, in ORM, templates, tests, configuration files, MVC, etc. Some other MVC frameworks that can be compared to Pylons, CakePHP (which is inspired by Ruby on Rails), and Zend Framework (one of the largest, with many extension components).
