I have an application on the Android Market that was published over a year ago using copy protection in the market (which is still active, but depreciates under the new licensing model). I read a lot of posts saying that if you disable obsolete copy protection, current clients will no longer be able to access the application. Since the previous copy protection was officially depreciated, the sales of my application fell sharply, is it possible that, since the protection against outdated copies is turned on, the new devices ceased to “see” my application? More importantly, how to disable legacy copy protection without alienating existing clients?
