CSS dotted border appears as tagged in Chrome

I applied "border-bottom: # F60 dotted.3em;" to the div, and while Firefox displays the dots as round, Chrome shows them as blocked dashes. Any takers?

If it's important that the borders are the same, you can look at the CSS3 border image property: http://www.css3.info/preview/border-image/ for Chrome, it will be-webkit-border-image:

The specification does not indicate that “dotted” means this level of detail. Two browsers simply interpret it differently. This is not a problem .
