Will Oracle combine JRockIt and standard JDK?

I just want to know, because it looks like they have a duplication of effort in maintaining two JDKs.

yes, what is the plan, they intend to use the access point as the basis for the combined jvm, and I believe that they plan to use some of the tools that jrockit provides. Details on this blog
