MAC OS X Java application hotkeys are not focused ... is this possible?

But what about MAC OS X? Is this doable?

Take a look at this: https://bitbucket.org/agynamix/ossupport-connector . He claimed to be the "global global hotkey library for Java." (Never worked with him before).
