Why does AVAudioPlayer automatically continue playing after applcation comes from the background?

Question

Why does AVAudioPlayer continue to play after the app has left the background, even if the player was paused before the app went to the background?

In general, I wonder why AVAudioPlayer automatically continues playing after the application comes from the background (because when the application goes to the background - I can’t catch as beginInterruption, like other delegates of AVAudioPlayer and AVAudioSession). ps: sorry for my english :)
