I'm trying to get the emulator to play sounds from the last days, but nothing works. See my other questions HERE and HER. The
worst thing is that I can’t even make sure that using the emulator for any task related to sound (recording or playback), even maybe or not. Some forums are hinting that this is possible, while others are hinting that it is not, but it does not work at all for my business. If nothing else, I assume that at least the sound functionality built into the emulator itself should work. But I just tried to reproduce the sample equipped with the built-in TTS engine, and it does not give me any way out.
How do I get any sound that comes out through the emulator, and is this even possible? - EDIT -: resolved, please read to find out how
Should I get a real device for experimenting with sound? Will the same problems be visible in a real device? By the way, programming on a real device will be slow, like in an emulator? Or is it fast? Or is it still slow, but slightly faster than the emulator? I want to make sure that I can do all the basic things before I get a real Android device.
----- EDIT -----
I finally got the sound working (at least a TTS sample)
it turns out that turning on the snapshot causes this problem
** MediaPlayer no longer works with the emulator with r10? **
But this brings me to a completely different question:
Why does turning on / off the snapshot in the world have anything to do with audioplayback ??? And besides, if I don’t have a snapshot, it will force the viewer to reload the next tie that I want to use, so it’s very important to enable the snapshot function
What is the specific reason for this? And why is this not properly documented?
