Where can I find documentation for the specific kind of SQL used by the Jet 4.0 engine?

I think this is the same as MS Access, which I think does not match the one used by MySQL and others. I need documentation for this particular "view" or "subset" of the SQL language.

Here is the latest version of the Access Access Reference (Access 2010).

However, @Remou's query guide is the most useful resource Microsoft provides, noting that they are over a decade old and do not take into account changes made to the ACE Access 2007 era (i.e., multi-valued data types are shivering!)

A word for the wise: the SQL Access link contains inclusion and omission errors that are too numerous for details here, so here's a quick example:

CREATE TABLE Statement (Microsoft Access SQL)

CREATE TEMPORARY TABLEThe syntax was never supported, as Access and Access do not even have temporary table functions. It seems that someone writing Help has lifted this from the SQL-92 specification, considering that Access was compatible with SQL-92!

Syntax

WITH COMPRESSIONonly supported in ANSI-92 ** access request mode. It would be helpful if this were indicated.

Quote: โ€œYou can use NOT NULL.. in a name CONSTRAINTthat applies to ... a multi-user name with a name CONSTRAINTโ€ - again, this is not an Access function and attempting to use syntax creates an error.
