Velocity vs Apache Tiles

What's better? We are going to start a new web project, and it is a question of which technology to choose. The project includes Spring MVC + WebFlow. Any good / bad support, expansion, performance experience?

How do you want to compare Tiles with Velocity? “Tiles are a way to lay out fragments of a page, and Veleocity is a more advanced template engine, better comparable to JSP than Tiles.”

Use both options. Tiles and Velocity integrate very well and solve different problems. You can make some Tiles-ish materials with Velocity #include and #parse pointers, but Tiles makes this composition material better.
