Does http: keep-alive keep php resources open or free all resources?

I use http keep-alive on the apache server.
Suppose I ask it to support open connections for up to 2 minutes ...
Now, if the connection is created and is idle for a minute, will there be resources stored in php
like mysql connections, file descriptors and etc., will they be released or will they survive too?

Confirmed. Keep-Alive is a mechanism to prevent costly TCP connection negotiations. Your PHP process / thread starts as usual and should allocate all resources as usual.
