Is there a good website or book that contains recommendations for HTML layouts? I mean, how to use divs to create different types of layouts appropriately. Thanks
I would recommend switching to CSS Zen Garden ( http://www.csszengarden.com/ ). This is a site that essentially has an eternal design contest, so they give you well-structured markup in style (so you can see how they do it and also strike a blow at the style).
Good luck
