Will Visual Studio 2010 not save TFS as the current version control plugin?

I am setting up VS.Net 2010 on a new Win7 computer to connect to the Team Foundation Server repository. After choosing Team Foundation Server as the current version control plugin in the Tools β†’ Options menu, VS.Net continues to switch to No.

If I select TFS, click OK and immediately open the solution using TFS, VS.Net declares that it cannot contact the control source and asks if I want to work temporarily without binding. It is strange that all several attempts everything works, and I can work with TFS.

If I select TFS, click "OK" and immediately return to "Tools-> Options", 2 out of 3 times "No" will be selected as the source control provider.

Also tried to run VS.Net with administrator privileges and without them with the same results.
