I am setting up VS.Net 2010 on a new Win7 computer to connect to the Team Foundation Server repository. After choosing Team Foundation Server as the current version control plugin in the Tools β Options menu, VS.Net continues to switch to No.
If I select TFS, click OK and immediately open the solution using TFS, VS.Net declares that it cannot contact the control source and asks if I want to work temporarily without binding. It is strange that all several attempts everything works, and I can work with TFS.
If I select TFS, click "OK" and immediately return to "Tools-> Options", 2 out of 3 times "No" will be selected as the source control provider.
Also tried to run VS.Net with administrator privileges and without them with the same results.
