WCF and Silverlight

Question

I read a lot of conflicting information about how and when to close the WCF service.

Some people say that you do not need.

Some people speak in the same place where you make the Async call

Some people speak according to the completed method.

Can someone point me to a place that actually talks about how to use this method in Microsoft? Also, when do you call it?
