Why does Consolas in Visual Studio look bold?

Question

I tried installing the Consolas font package to use it with VS 2005. For some reason, it looks a lot bolder than Wikipedia> and examples of Jeff Atwood . I read something about anti-aliasing, and now I'm trying to do it. Any ideas on how to get it look subtle and smooth too?

EDIT: Sorry, found out. This has something to do with ClearType fonts. Turning it around, sorted out all my problems.

You can enable clearType by running the wizard from the MS website below,
