I want to try using the channel-API between my GAE application and iphone. I'm not sure where to start ... should I try it with a UIWebView that runs javascript?
Well, this is possible on the iPhone. Of course, this should be on another NSThread ... and this is a nightmare for debugging due to poor access to JS from iphone.

I think you should have some kind of native app for a mid-app that communicates with the javascript channel
