What is the best agile development platform for a small team?

We are a small team that develops applications using different languages and platforms (Visual Studio, Matlab and GNU C Compiler). The development team is located elsewhere (USA and Europe).

We need a version control system, as well as software for flexible project management.

I know about SVN + Trac + Agilo. Is there a better solution?

Yours faithfully

Edit: I want to host all the software myself and not use the hosting service. We do not want our source code to leave the company.

We are very pleased with PivotalTracker for managing our user stories and using git with github for version control. Both integrate nicely (github automatically changes the status of your user stories when committing and adds a commit link as a comment on the story).
