Is VS 2010 SP1 changed where the .config file is selected from the VSTO insert?

I have a 2010 add-in that has a link to the service department that we installed. The configuration of the service is in the app.config file. This add-in is deployed using the Windows installer to the program files folder.

This worked without problems until yesterday.

Yesterday I installed VS 2010 SP1 and now when the add-in is trying to access the web service, it has the error "Could not find the default endpoint element that refers to the contract in the ServiceModel client configuration section."

Does anyone know what has changed and what causes this problem?

If I open a project in VS, build, and then run from VS, the configuration will be perfectly matched.

Thanks Gavin

Perhaps after installing Service Pack 1 (SP1) you have problems with services without extension? http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2468871 - Problem 16?
