App Engine, appcfg and credential saving

On Linux, it seems that appcfg.py saves credentials when I use it to download a new version of my application. However, this is not like OSX, and a password is asked each time.

On Linux, I have a local installation. In OSX, I used the binary installer.

Is there anything I can do for OSX so that it saves me having to re-enter my password?

Additional Information: Found null .appcfg_cookies cell in my home folder. Obviously, it does not save credentials there, although it tries.

Check python module firewall - http://bitbucket.org/kang/python-keyring-lib

Support for Linux (Gnome, KDE), Win32, and OSX. Works great for me.
