Django-pyodbc vs django-mssql

It is in the title indeed. I want to run Django against MSSQL 2005. Both look quite active and modern. I do not seem to see any unique moments.

  • Can anyone recommend each other?
  • Would it be trivial to exchange between them at a later date?
  • Are they ready for production?

Thank!

My choice is django-pyodbc due to cross-platform requirements. django-mssql only works on Windows.

Django-pyodbc works with South.

Django-pyodbc pyodbc. ( - ). , ( ) "manage.py ss_loaddata". ss_loaddata - "loaddata". ... .

, django-mssql , , , , pyodbc. .
