How to use QLPreviewPanel?

How to use QLPreviewPanel? I know that before this was not a public API, but 10.6. How can I use it to show a file preview in a standard QuickLook panel?

Check out the QuickLookDownloader code. It will guide you through a couple of things you need to do to include it QLPreviewPanelin your code. Some of them include:

  • Matching your objects with the protocol QLPreviewItem- this tells Quick Look where you can find the file you want to view (and you are viewing files - you cannot transfer user data).
