Is there a decent example of PHP Facebook Connect anywhere on the web?

I have a very simple php site to which I want to add a connection to facebook. I searched here and there to find out how to do this. Even the developer docs on facebook seem to be wrong. I see that many experienced programmers respond that the documents are outdated and some of the methods will not work. How to create a new solution for this part, etc.

I know that Facebook has changed a lot about how facebook connects just before 2011. Isn't there anyone who could provide a working example on how to do this? I will give the left leg to someone who can provide an updated and working tutorial.

The PHP example shows exactly how to do this. Short, redirect to $ facebook-> getLoginUrl (), and then call $ facebook-> getUser ().
