I recently checked my site on an iPhone and found that the iPhone sometimes converts dates or something similar to phone numbers.
What does it mean? Let’s say, somewhere on my site the following line appeared:
<font style="color:red;font-size:40px;">bla bla bla 19/03/2011</font>
iPhone converts it to a phone number - the color turns black and the font size becomes small (for example, 12 pixels).
How can i turn it off? What do I need to add to my site to prevent conversion?
I can manipulate it, so it will not be able to convert it to a phone number - for example, adding a “-” before the date, but I do not want to do this.
How can I solve it?
