Why am I getting the error "[UIViewController tableView: numberOfRowsInSection:]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x4e38c50 '"?

I made a TabBarApplication, and made 3 controllers, 1 of them inherits from the UITableViewController, I put the number of sections "return 1" and the number of rows in the sections as "return 2",

I have the following problem: why?

[UIViewController tableView:numberOfRowsInSection:]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x4e38c50 '"

#import <UIKit/UIKit.h>

@interface List : UITableViewController {

}

@end

and .m file

    #import "List.h"

Pls check the tableView data source. I think he is misconfigured. If the data source is not configured correctly, this can cause problems.

I got the same error. I solved this by changing the View Controller class from UIViewController to ViewController (ViewController.h class).
