Auto delete images

I am looking for a tool that can automatically remove the background from an image, requiring zero human interaction. I am currently experimenting with the Image Magick tool (http://www.imagemagick.org/ script / index.php). I use the actual photos that I took. First, I take a photo of the background, then I enter the object into the same frame and take another shot. I have a camera on a tripod, so there is no movement. Shadows created by this object appear to affect the results, as well as the background texture. I do not mind if preparing the scene takes longer, while I can successfully delete the entire background without touching it in Photoshop (or any other image editing application). The problems I encounter with ImageMagick is that it also removes parts of the object in the foreground.Does anyone know of any other tool or suggestions on how to “prepare” the scene so that I can cleanly remove the background only with this tool or any other? All tips / advice / suggestions are welcome. Thanks everyone!

How do you use Imagemagick? I am doing something similar in one project, with these commands:

# Detect modified pixels
composite -compose difference picture1.jpg picture2.jpg diff.png
# Ignore minor differences (jpeg noise)
convert -threshold 25% diff.png diff2.png
# Apply mask
composite -compose CopyOpacity diff2.png picture.jpg result.png

Note. I am using a very old version of imageMagick (6.2.4.3). Command syntax can be changed.

Try this (using ImageMagick):

convert picture.jpg -fill none -fuzz 12% -draw "matte 0,0 floodfill" -flop -draw "matte 0,0 floodfill" -flip -draw "matte 0,0 floodfill" -flop -draw "matte 0,0 floodfill" -flip result.png

Basically it takes an image file (i.e. picture.jpg) and using a 12% fuzz factor (you can play with this value to get better results) fills the image based on the colors of the image pixels in four corners. After all this process, the displayed image result.png.
