Maven site creation not working

Does anyone not get mvn site output? I was getting access to the site in my Macbook pro, and I also deployed the site. But today nothing works:

[INFO] --- maven-site-plugin: 2.0.1: site (default-cli) @ svs-utility ---

No reports or HTML generated

I think that with the advice of Raghuram that you have already figured out, however, I saw this question today, and I had the same problem. I am learning Maven and I decided to document my steps here, as this might be useful to someone else. I am running Maven 3.0.1 and it used version 2.0.1 of the plugin which does not work.
