First function unknown

I am taking the first steps with KCachegrind/Cachegrind. I run Cachegrindon machine A, then I moved the output files to machine B, where I have KCachegrind installed.

I don’t know why, but I always have the first function displayed as (unknown), and this is bad, because I have 19.46uses, as shown in the picture. What am I doing wrong? Should the output file have all the necessary information?

  • I use the compilation flag -g, is that enough? I would like to use the ptimized version, but I don't know if it works.
  • Could this be better if I ran Kcachegrind on the same machine where I am profiling?
