JQuery Sortable Table plugin for Rails 3 Recommendation

Inside a Rails 3 application, which jQuery plugin for sortable tables / grids would you recommend satisfying these conditions:

  • integrates well with Rails 3 columns
  • sorting
  • resize columns
  • filter .
  • show / hide columns
  • allows pagination
  • has a non-viral license: BSD, MIT in order; (L) GPL is not
  • still under active development

I looked at jQuery Grid recommendations , as well as this article about 15 Great jQuery plugins for better table manipulation , but there are many alternatives, and some are even outdated.

I took a closer look at DataTables , even tablesorter , as good candidates, but how does dual licensing work? If he speaks

I can’t talk about any other projects, but, of course, using DataTables the software is published in GPLv2 or BSD 3-point license. You can choose which one you want to use in the software (or both if you want, although this can be a little strange :-)).
