Form input history selection event

I'm struggling to figure out a few forms in which users enter a lot of duplicate data. In these cases, it helps users have access to the history of forms (i.e., choose the name of the person to whom they sent several notifications, etc. The problem here is that in most browsers there is no event, the user selects a fragment of text from his forms , so with a few other posts in stackoverflow, I decided to use it instead setInterval.

What I'm looking for right now is feedback to bring out everything that might be a bad idea, and anything to make it better.

I have a demo here http://lab.atworkinthecloud.com/form-history-select/

I believe that you should not base your implementation on browser behavior (remember the story), which may or may not be available to the user. If you want to create a useful interface, you must provide access to the history yourself or use features such as autorun

since you run the handler so often (and I noticed that you are also binding the propterychange event), why not just bind only the changechange property, which will also do this.

you don’t need to bind all these events at all.
