Appeal to apple at a time (per year)

Question

I have a major error in my application, and I know that you can contact Apple once a year. A quick review of your application to get it online faster than usual.

My update is possible in my apple dev account.

I am just wondering if I will contact them now, if I get another at the end of May, or if I need to wait 12 months?
