In TFS 2010, How do you prevent two people from editing the same file?

You want to delete several validation options.

You will need permission to Team Project to change it - if you are not sure, contact your TFS administrator.

To go to the parameter itself, first go to Visual Studio, Team Explorer, and then right-click the project for which you want to change the parameter. Then select Team Project Settings, then select Source Control. In the dialog that appears, turn off "Enable multiple registration" and click "OK."
