What happens if I did not call the delete operator after selecting the data with the new and ending program?

What happens if I did not call the delete operator after highlighting the data with new. I know that the data that was allocated will not be available until its release, but after the program ends?

Why does the PC seem to have nausea xD, I mean that it is very slow, but after a while its performance becomes better, but not like before running the program?

Note. I am running Windows XP.
