Testing email programs in rspec

Question

Is there a simple way to make an equivalent response.should render_template(:foo)in the mailer specification? Here is what I want to do:

mail.should render_template (: welcome)

Is there so much to ask? Am I stuck in dark times heredocs or manually read instruments in accordance with?

Have you tried watching email-spec . It does not have the exact syntax, but it is used to test various aspects of sending letters.
