Does SQL Server 2008 Allow Remote Connections?

I tried to remotely connect to SQL. I inserted port 1433, I restarted the service, and I do not have an active Windows firewall. However, I can only use the local connection, I cannot connect remotely.

I read that SQL Server 2005 Express does not allow remote connections, but what about 2008? Does it allow remote connections?

You need to configure the server to accept tcp / ip connections.
