Does window.print () work on all versions of Safari on iPad?

Question

I have a few questions regarding the printing used in iPad Safari ( window.print())

Does the same JS method use print()on iPad Safari without the need for an update?
Do I need to add a printer first?
Is iOS version for AirPrint?
On my page I use window.print(), and does not even cause pop-ups or even errors. Nothing happens. Im testing on iOS 3.2.

Please, help. Thank.

Not sure about 1. and 2., but as for 3 .:
