I have a requirement to use multiple font styles in a UITextView. Like Bold, Italic and underlining text in one text view. How:
One word is in bold, the second can be in italics. Underscore of choice.
I do not think that this is allowed to be done, but still, if someone has reached and wants to share. I need all this while typing and when displaying.

You are correct that the standard UITextView does not support advanced editing. There are currently several solutions to the problem.
