How to get facebook notification in iPhone SDK?

I am developing an application for the iPhone in which I want to receive a notification in my application when my friends write or publish on my wall.

They saw a notice on the Facebook website, now I want to receive a notification in my iPhone app.

Does anyone know how to get this notification through the iPhone SDK?
