Show <div> without JS
I have a very simple webpage. It consists of a large background image and a button in the center of this image (the button is placed in a div to place it), I want this button to be pressed, and when I click on it, it will be replaced by ANOTHER div in which the movie trailer will be shown.
Every solution I come across implements JS and should show / hide the div and not replace the show / hide button.
I just want to SHOW the div, it does not need to be hidden after (since the button, hopefully, will be replaced anyway).
Almost identical to this example on the Duke Nukem website: http://www.dukenukemforever.com/full/us/
When you click play trailer, it looks central. The only difference between this and what I want to do is that my button will also be central, and show the trailer above the top of the button (without the ability to hide the trailer after it starts).
If someone asks why I didn’t just put the trailer on the page and don’t worry about it, this is the reason that it “shows”, and not just embeds the video in a div in the center of the page. that there is a large background on the webpage that I want to see first for a hit and then show the trailer.
if it is possible in JS and someone can show me an example, I will be open too!
