Associating Versions with a Redmine Problem

Is there a way to manually associate a revision / commit with a Redmine problem?

Usually we do this by having the proper commit message format ("Permits # ..." in our case). But I forgot about it and used a different message.

I do not have permission to modify the commit message. And even if I still couldn’t delete the Redmine data to restore it again. (The method in question Redmine and SVN: how to associate the version with the problem after the fix occurred? ).

I updated the problem with the comment "r ...", which is correctly associated with the revision. But this is just a link. It did not generate “Related revisions” as a valid commit message.

Is there a way to manually make Redmine see such a connection?

There is an easy way to manually associate a Redmine issue with a commit. In your project, go to the "Repository" tab, select the target revision, click the "Add" link on the right and select the target problem. You now have this revision related to your problem.

Please note that here you can also delete associations.

For both operations, you must have permission to "Manage Related Issues".

This works for Redmine version 2.4.2.
