Perl editor / IDE similar to a source of understanding for C

I recently started working with Perl. Googling shows several editors, but I cannot find an editor that will help me navigate through a lot of Perl source code. One of the possibilities I'm looking for is the ability of the IDE to integrate with various modules and allow me to move from one to another. If possible, this will also help if you see which function calls that. I used the original representation for programming in C, and it provides these very useful functions. I am looking for similar functions in perl.
