I wrote a relatively large application with a lot of dialog boxes and forms, etc. I open them with Form.ShowDialog().
A lot of time, forms open behind existing windows, for example. Yesterday I tested it on a machine with several other programs: many Windows Explorer windows, several Excel windows, etc. Many of my forms, open / saved file dialogs, etc. should have opened, but did not open. I squeezed my thumbs until I pressed the alt + tab button and realized that they were, in fact, behind another window.
Why is this happening, and how can I stop it in the future? Thank.
